On Saturday 9 July 2016, NMS researchers from overseas visited the Cup Noodles Museum in Yokohama, as part of the IEC’s annual program of social events. The museum provided the group with a unique insight into the history of instant noodles, as well as a chance to create their own personalized cup noodles using ingredients of their choice.
Prior to the museum visit, the group enjoyed a lunch buffet at a nearby hotel in Yokohama, where they were able to exchange opinions about a wide range of subjects, in a relaxed fashion.
